Here are a few recipes for a variety of extracts.
Vanilla Honey Butter
½ cup butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup hone
1 tsp Watkins Pure Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract
Whip butter and powdered sugar together until smooth; stir in honey and vanilla. Use on pancakes, waffles, biscuits or muffins. Makes ¾ cup
Caramel Apple Dip
1 package 8oz cream cheese, softened
¼ to 1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp Watkins Vanilla
½ tsp Watkins Caramel Extract
Apples or pears, cored and sliced
Blend first four ingredients using electric mixer. Use as a dip for apple slices. Makes 1 cup.
Quick Homemade Syrup
1 tsp Watkins Maple Extract to 1 cup light corn syrup.
Hot Homemade Syrup
1 cup sugar, 1 cup water Boil and add 3/4tsp Watkins Maple Extract
Chocolate Substitute for People with Allergies:
1 tbsp Watkins Chocolate Extract and
1 tbsp shortening equals 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
